Kornberg School of Dentistry

Dr. Mulligan will be giving a lecture June 1st, 2018 at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry.  His lecture will cover the legal issues that impact every dental practice. The lecture includes the following material:

• The practical considerations in running a practice in view of State Board and Regulatory guidelines.
• Dealing with insurance companies including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Understanding and complying with regulatory agencies, specifically OSHA, Department of Health, EEOC and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Committee.
• Potential criminal justices including fraud, theft, endangering the well being of a patient, sexual abuse and IRS concerns.
• Dental Malpractice and Office Negligence including the statute of limitations, professional negligence.
  MediCare Act, Insurance, Claim reporting, the National Practitioner’s Data Bank and how the legal process works.
